Mjøssamlingene at Minnesund – Mjøsa’s own maritime museum
Visit Mjøssamlingene, which is located under the old bridges across Minnevika. Explore Mjøsa’s colourful maritime history through the old storehouses, captain’s residence, log driver’s cabin, workshop, and vintage vessels still in use. The museum is also home to the slip specially adapted to Skibladner. Its grounds are open to all, and the beach is a popular swimming, fishing and picnic spot.

The museum is open for groups by appointment all year round. Ideal to combine with a visit to one of our other attractions, such as Mjøsa's own museum Mjøsas Ark at Kapp, or Amtmannsgården Stenberg.

Motordagen is a car enthusiasts’ gathering held towards the end of July, and attracts many visitors. Other events include a pirate day and a log-driving day during the summer holidays.
